Hello! I’m Frankie Heming, the owner and creator behind Tactical Pterodactyl Knives. My love for knives began at an early age when my father would travel and bring them back home for me. As my collection grew, so did my interest in learning how they were made. The more I researched different steels and studied other companies, the more obsessed I became with making my own.

By the grace of God, what started out as a hobby in my spare time has turned into the full-time gig it is today. My mission is to create the toughest knives out there while striving to provide the absolute best customer service possible. It is my hope that my faith in God and exceptional service will stand out every bit as much as the quality knives I build.
