Amazon has the full-size plain edge black Cold Steel SRK in SK-5 for $37.28 with free Prime shipping. The compact drops below $40 pretty often, and the regular 6" can also drop a few times a year. Right now, MidwayUSA has the partially-serrated SRK for $35 before shipping is factored in. In my opinion, this is the best dollar-for-dollar fixed blade you can buy.

It's a knife that routinely gets long-term review videos done by users, not unboxing impressions. I'll link to several in the comments, but chances are, any channel you subscribe to has reviewed one version or another. It's been made for decades and been standard issue for Navy Seals BUDS soldiers a majority of that time.

It's a complete tank. Joe X has done at least a half dozen videos on the SRK versions. He ranks this one the second best, ahead of the compact, 4116, San Mai, and 3V, behind only the discontinued Aus-8. We know his M.O. is to abuse a knife until it breaks. The SRK made it to the Glock stage. Not much of it was left, but the bastard literally clip-dumped into what was left, and it stared back at him like the black knight in Monty Python and The Holy Grail. For whatever that's worth.

This one however may be the best "torture test" video ever.
