Low Cost Fighting Fixed Blade
Published: 12 years ago
People always want to know what is the lowest priced fixed blade that could still function as a fighter. Probably something like this, it cost me $13.50. It is full tang, thick enough not to break, pointed and with enough reach to cause severe damage, kind of like a bayonet-knife. The handle scales are Micarta. The blade design is actually a scaled up copy of the old Junglee Hattori Fighter. There is also a blade made by Katz that is over $200, the Alley Kat Combat Ready Tactical Knife, which uses the exact same blade shape.
The full name of this knife was "M-Tech Tactical Fixed Blade Hunting Knife With Micarta Handle" MT-543S. I purchased it from wholesaler www.eturkeycreekco.com.
