Showing an assortment of folding knives of different sizes and prices which could serve on your weak side opposite a firearm, or in places you are not allowed to carry a firearm.
Before Carrying A Folding Knife:
1. Consider if a fixed blade could be better for your situation.
2. Consider what other options (batons, pepper spray) might be useful.
3. Make sure you have training in use of a folding knife.
4. Make sure you are clear when you would carry and employ a weapon. If you misjudge a situation, you could face strong legal consequences.
Personally, I categorize knives like this into three categories; those made for slashing, those made for thrusting, and those which could some of each. (There are also chopping knives like the large Rajah series, but no sense making too long a video that no one has time to finish).
Knives Shown:
1. Cold Steel Hold Out 1 ($100)
2. CRKT Hissatsu Folder ($45)
3. Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Folder ($90)
4. Cold Steel G10 Espada, Medium ($65)
5. Microctech Socom Elite ($270)
6. Spyderco Manix 2 XL ($100)
7. Blade-Tech Profili Folder ($125)
8. Al Mar SERE 2000 ($170)
9. Spyderco Harpy ($85)
10. Emerson Super Karambit ($270)
11. Spyderco Civilian ($165)
12. Byrd SS Crossbill ($25)
There are hundreds of other options out there, this was just a sample to demonstrate categories.
