Blade length: 2.25 inches
Overall Length: 5.5 inches
Steel: AUS-8
Tip: Spearpoint
Handle Scales: FRN
Sheath: Kydex
Notes: Single-edged. Skeletonized handle.
Made In: Taiwan
Cost: $50
A last ditch boot knife designed for 5.11's customer base of uniformed professionals and civilian firearms owners. This knife was designed by Mike Vellenkamp and Blade-Tech, for 5.11. The sheath allows for carry on the waist, neck, boot, or MOLLE webgear. The knife is solid, but honestly worth around $25 dollars, in my opinion. The sheath is very good and easily worth another $10. So the knife feels a bit overpriced, but that is not unusual these days. There are easily 30 different small fixed blades all competing in this same category.
