This is a long flexible Panga pattern machete, it is medium weight for it's length. It can clear brush and trails no problem, and take on saplings and small limbs, but it is not a substitute for a woodman's axe. It has the same convex edge as all other Condor machetes, however it is 420 High Carbon stainless steel rather than the carbon steel Condor often uses. It has a durable Ultrablack coating. The sharpened back section can function much like a giant pruning knife, hook and cut fruit stems, and dig and uproot plants. The machete proved pretty durable, suffering no damage from hundreds of hard whacks into thick wood.
