Many people have asked if the Cold Steel Trench Hawk is good for throwing. It is a very long hawk and very topheavy due to the polypropylene handle, so it can be difficult to control. The spike sticks very well. Overall, I would say this hawk is medium in difficulty to throw. As with any wood or synthetic handle hawk, the handle can break, which is why Cold Steel also sells replacement handles (Amazon).

Standard Throwing Disclaimer: I never said anyone should throw a blade in real combat. Please don't make me have to block you for arguing about something that I never said. Throwers should be able to share their sport on here without harassment.
