Boker Plus Batman Hawkbill Folder Review
Published: 10 years ago
Steel: 8Cr13MoV
Blade Length: 3.5 inch
Locking Mechanism: Liner Lock
Handle Scales: G-10
Weight: 6.2 ounces
Made In: China
Price: Around $35
My review of the Boker Batman Folder. The pivot came super tight. The beginning of the grind was quite uneven between each side. I would prefer almost any other blade coating besides the bead blast; stonewashed, DLC, or satin would be better. The handle is a bit thick and boxy. The edge is not very sharp and the grind remains thick behind the bevel, so this is not a knife to slice through things. The lanyard should be removed, if this is a tactical folder. It is a decent, functional hawkbill folder, but due to the factors above, I do think it should be priced lower, it should be priced about the same as the Spyderco Byrd line, $20-25.
