TrustFire Budget Flashlight (Easy Activation Problem Fix) and Review

Published: 9 years ago

TrustFire Mini Flashlight
Length: 2.5 inches
Body: Stainless Steel
Weight: 4.2 ounces
Bulb: Cree LED
Power: 1X CR123A or RCR123 Battery
Activation: Twist Head
Modes: High/Medium/Strobe
Lumens: This light was listed as 1,000 lumens. I do not think it is 1,000 lumens, but most lights of this size and this type of battery are around 170-190 lumens (Nitecore, Fenix, and FourSevens), and this light is definitely as bright or brighter than those.
Price: $16

This is a great light for around $15. It came with a TrustFire CR123A battery included. It can use rechargeable (RCR123) batteries too, which is a big plus, because not all lights that use CR123s can use the rechargeable ones. The flashlight is extremely compact and bright. I would recommend adding a couple more O-rings to prevent it from activating from downward pressure on the flashlight head. The outside of the flashlight is very smooth, so I added some athletic tape to make it easier to turn the head.
