This is a true pocket rocket, basically a 300 lumen light, but it has a turbo burst mode of 900 lumens that will last for about 3 minutes before stepping down due to heat. The secondary red LED is great for reading and preserving night vision. The burst mode gives you the power of a much larger light for a few minutes in a 3.6 inch package. The AA battery option is not super bright, but it is extremely useful in a pinch. The voltage indictor is very useful in checking batteries. This light does not have very long run times, however once you understand this limitation, it is overall a good light with many desirable features for a moderate price.
