Trustfire Z2 (14500): http://goo.gl/b5Mrww
GOOD BATTERIES FOR THESE LIGHTS:
EagTac 16340 Lithium-Ion Batteries: http://goo.gl/awk1Tk
NiteCore 14500 Battery: http://goo.gl/RQhDQ8
These are mini headlamp style flashlights, with the emitter and reflector at a 90 degree angle to the body of the light. This allows for a very strong grip on the light, and easy activation of the light with a thumb press. It also allows the light to be affixed to gear such as a cap, headband, the frame of a backpack, or military type suspenders. Ranger bands can work well for a quick way to mount these on gear.
These lights are very well constructed, considering their low prices. Shipping can take 2-4 weeks or more, depending where you order them from. The aluminum bodies are thick enough to feel sturdy, the threading is done right, and the high visibility buttons are crisp and responsive. The beam is cool white in color.
