Lenser F1R vs. ThruNite TN12, Flashlight Shootout
Published: 9 years ago
Head to head showdown between the new Lenser F1R ($108) and the ThruNite TN12 ($46). The Lenser is rated at 1000 Lumens, the TN12 at 1050. They both use 1x 18650 Lithium-Ion battery. These are both high quality flashlights.
The TN12 seemed slightly brighter. I love the compactness of the F1R. Ultimately, things come down to how much you are willing to spend. The F1R is a great light, especially for flashlight enthusiasts like myself, but it is more than twice the price of the TN12, and so for those on a strict budget, the TN12 will give a lot of bang for the buck.
