In this video I am demonstration the cutting performance of a reground spyderco spydiechef. The knife was reground by Big Brown Bear, here is a link to his channel.

I am comparing the spydiechef to the pm2 because the blade geometry of the pm2 was very similar to that of the spydiechef prior to the regrind. The pm2 tested in this video was .020 behind the edge sharpened at 30 Inclusive. And on the same stones as the chef.
The spydiechef was originally .020 behind the edge, when sharpened at 30 inclusive. And after the regrind the knife is now .004 behind the edge wile still being sharpened at 30 inclusive.
NOTE! Please don’t listen to the numbers I’m stating in the video wile I’m doing the individual tests. After filing I realized some of these numbers may be high. At the end of the video I stated the knife on avg cut with 3x less pressure then the pm2. And I think that’s a very fair number.
