How to Build an Urban Survival Tin for Disruption, Disaster & Attack
Published: 2 years ago
Urban Knife Guy shares how to build an urban survival tin for Disruption, Disaster or attack.
Watch the video on the updated tin here: https://youtu.be/6yGN0GUZMR0
This Urban Survival Tin is designed to increase chances of survival and rescue or escape specifically in an urban environment should things go bad. It is designed for both domestic and travel use, although you cannot hand carry this tin on a plane.
To help you build this urban survival tin and to keep this video from going too long, I have put together a written guide with details, photos and product links for the different items inside the tin.
You can download it for free at https://urbanknifeguy.com
So be sure to check the guide for all the small details and step-by-step instructions.
What makes this tin different is that it focuses on urban survival. This is not an outdoor or wilderness survival kit. The urban environment is quite different with different opportunities and different challenges.
Most survival tins shared were designed for the outdoors and urban tins were designed more as convenience kits for EDC or everyday carry.
This tin specifically was designed for three main urban scenarios:
- Disruption
- Disaster
- Attack
Now, this is not an exhaustive survival kit that will guarantee your survival in any situation but it may increase your chances substantially, which makes it worthwhile.
This is meant to be an EDC (that is everyday carry) so it was designed to be small, compact and as lightweight as possible.
