Buck 112 Ranger Finger Groove Classic Folding Knife

Published: 1 year ago

Urban Knife Guy shares his thoughts on the Buck 112 Ranger Finger Groove.

In 1964, the larger buck 110 was introduced. And in 1972. Buck introduced the 112 Ranger. It was created in response to a fight between sailors and soldiers in which a model 110 Folding Hunter was used. There was a decree issued as a result that knives carried could not have a blade length of a specific size. The 110 blade exceeded that length, so Buck Knives created the Ranger, a smaller version of the 110.

As originally introduced in the 1960s, the 112 once again features a genuine ebony hardwood handle. This ethically sourced Crelicam ebony supports replanting efforts in the Congo Basin rainforest while providing Buck Knives with a genuine hardwood handle that is nearly indestructible.
