Level Up Your Knife Skills: Learn to Make a Static Cord for Sheaths
Published: 1 year ago
Knife Noob Episode 16:
I just got a new Griffin Scout 2.5 fixed blade knife and needed to make a static cord for it so I thought I would film it so you guys can make one yourself. The static cord is my favorite way to carry most fixed blades as it keeps them ultra slim and concealable, especially when paired with a kydex or boltaron sheath (or any sheath with grommets to run a static cord).
All you will need to make one is some paracord (550 is preferred but nearly any kind should work), a lighter, and your knife sheath. You will also want to measure length on your hip so you can get the length perfect for your preferred carry location. See the video for the rest!
