White Smooth Bone BC793 Bone Collector Snook (Ulu Skinner)
Published: 5 years ago
Early on I picked up an ulu skinner and found it quite useful for cutting fish. After all it is really nothing more than a beefed up Deba or Chef's Utility Knife.
Having bought several such knives for both the tackle box and the collection, I realized that I did not have one in my white smooth bone collection. Looking around, I noticed that there really weren’t many with that handle material. I ended up taking a chance on one from a most unlikely maker.
The Bone Collector Ulu Skinner is a knife designed by Mr Cutlery Corner himself, Jim Frost. For those who don't know it, Jim Frost is an avid angler and knows a thing or two about knife designs.
Admittedly he better known for inexpensive fantasy zombie killers but he also knows how to make a practical knife for fishing. His "Snook" is such a knife.
