QC, Case, and the meaning of life
Published: 3 years ago
Okay, not so much the meaning of life but my thoughts on the trending attacks on Case over its handling of JB's RussLock. (JB is BigRedEDC)
Excuse me for not really taking sides in this event. My Case experience has been different over the past several years. This is not to say, Case's customer service didn't screw the pooch in this circumstance. But I'm also not ready to raise Rough Ryder or SMKW customer service department up to Saint Hood while condemning Case or any other knife company to hell.
In this response, I try to go over where Case went wrong; reflect on the standards we as a community hold various knife companies (and retailers) to; and offer some measures that companies could implement that might improvement quality control and build a better customer appreciation.
I apologize in advance for the lack of cussing and outrage on my part.
