British No 4 MkII Bayonet and friends

Before discussing the No. 4 Bayonet I revisit my British Pattern 1907 Bayonet by Wilkinson. and answer a few questions about it. The No. 4 Bayonet is one of those often overlooked Socket Bayonets. It was definitely a product of its time and despite its lack of popularity during its service life proved to be capable in its intended and adopted purpose. It would serve the British Army and most Commonwealth forces throughout WWII.
