Survival Knives: Would YOUR Knife Survive the Apocalypse?

Your favorite woods knife might deserve a second look when the survival scenario changes.
In this video, I share fixed blades from my own collection that I would consider for an apocalyptic survival situation—and explain what I’m looking for beyond a knife’s appearance or “survival” label.
We’re talking about the differences between a temporary wilderness emergency and long-term survival when supplies, repairs, and replacement gear may be out of reach. Toughness, blade geometry, construction, grip comfort, and the ability to maintain a working edge all deserve consideration.
These are my personal selections from knives I own, and there are plenty of other great options. My goal is to help you evaluate your own knife and think about the demands it could face.
