“It’s Just a Knife!” ???? Everybody Has Their Thing.

“You spent HOW MUCH on a knife? A $10 knife cuts too!” ????
I just had a conversation with someone who said this very thing. They called me foolish for spending that kind of money on something as “silly” as a knife.
But I personally know this person, and they spend money on plenty of things I would never spend money on. Things I don’t see the value in—but THEY do.
And that’s the point. Whether it’s video games, clothes, car upgrades, artwork, or something else, we all have things we enjoy that somebody else thinks are a waste of money.
You don’t have to understand why I enjoy collecting knives. But not seeing the value in my hobby doesn’t make me foolish for enjoying it.
Everybody has their thing. Mine happens to be knives. ????
