The Future of Knife Collecting Is Looking Bright ????????
Published: 1 week ago
At Blade Show 2026, one of the coolest things I noticed wasn't a specific knifeāit was the people.
The balisong crowd was packed with younger enthusiasts who brought incredible skill, passion, and energy to the hobby. It was a reminder that the knife community is bigger and more diverse than many people realize.
Different ages. Different backgrounds. Different styles. Different reasons for loving knives.
Whether you're into balisongs, EDC folders, fixed blades, collecting, fidgeting, craftsmanship, or simply appreciating great design, there's a place for you in this community.
The future of knife collecting is in good hands, and after seeing the next generation at Blade Show, I'm more excited than ever for what's ahead.
