In the knife community, few topics create more debate than “safe queens.”
Some people believe knives are tools meant to be used hard. Others see them as collectibles, investments, works of art, or pieces of craftsmanship worth preserving.
In this video, I talk about why I personally take care of many of my knives, why some collectors choose to preserve them, and why I believe there is no single “right” way to enjoy this hobby.
At the end of the day, whether you hard use your knives or keep them pristine, the most important thing is enjoying the hobby in the way that makes YOU happy.
