Kydex Knife Sheaths: Showing off my new hobby

In this video, I show some of the Kydex sheaths I have made in the past few months. I am new to the hobby and was driven to it by necessity, my old Cold Steel Tanto needed a replacement sheath for the beautiful but dried-out and old leather sheath that came with it over 25 years ago.

Recently I got my hands on a few lower-end fixed blades that I have eyed in the past but avoided due to sub-par or impractical sheaths—and made my own Kydex sheaths for them, optimized for IWB (in the waist band) carry.

So far I have made sheaths for:
• Cold Steel Master Tanto
• Cold Steel Roachbelly
• Kershaw Skyline (Fixed blade)
• Kershaw Diskin Hunter
• Kershaw Antelope Hunter
• Cold Steel XL G10 Espada
• Unknown Custom Neck Knife
• Gerber Big Rock (not pictured)

I like knowing that I am no longer limited to the carry options presented by manufacturers, which opens up a whole new world of edged possibility. I have many other ideas for Kydex sheaths and would love to collaborate with my brother, a talented leather crafter, on a scabbard I envision for an old, pawn shop, bone-handled W49 Western Bowie given to my by my brother.
