Richard Rogers of Richard Rogers Knives joins Bob "The Knife Junkie" on episode 202 of The Knife Junkie Podcast. Rogers, who lives on a working cattle ranch in New Mexico, has been making knives since 1996. His grown son manages the ranch while Rogers focuses on knife making. Rogers started by making hunting knives and then moved to slip joints and multi-tools. Now he is focused on liner locks and double detent folders.
Known for his elegant designs and clean lines, Richard has won over 50 awards during his knife making career, including “Best of Show” at Blade. He has had eight knives in production with CRKT, including the blockbusters Montosa and CEO. Each Richard Rogers model sees constant refinement until the knife is the “best example of what that knife should be.”
