Former French commando, competitive fighter, kali expert and general badass Fred Perrin designed the low-profile Street Bowie for Spyderco and it and its smaller brother the Street Beat Bowie and they have been raging success ever since. Know for his stashable, highly ergonomic tactical designs, Perrin knocks the cutting performance of this knife out of the park, with its fully flat ground VG-10 blade and made it comfortable with a very rounded and contoured handle. This would serve excellently in many other roles, for instance camp food prep knife or light duty outdoors knife. However you use it, it stashes away nicely with the provided molded plastic handle. Great knife, highly recommended!!
