Finally, another knife company besides Cold Steel is making ridiculously large folding knives. The new Kershaw Strata is a modern take on classic Spanish Navaja, executed with class and style. The 5.5" D2 blade is very thin and sharp and the stainless steel frame lock and G-10 handle is super slim -- and with the deep carry pocket clip -- shockingly easy and low-profile to carry. On bearings, the action is smooth though at times sluggish due to the massive blade. Great knife so far but if it's too large for you, check out the 4.5" bladed version of the same slick design.
