Jonathan Caruso of Ledlyl Knives joins Bob "The Knife Junkie" on episode 250 of The Knife Junkie Podcast. Be sure to catch this great episode full of info and fun, as well as how Caruso came up with the interesting name for his knife company.
Caruso custom hand forges knives, tomahawks and grill tools with a focus on function and an eye for beauty. Bladesmithing was a hobby for him for 7 years until he retired from the Marine Corps and took on knife making full-time.
Jonathan competed on History Channel's "Forged in Fire" and walked away champion, producing the episode's top-testing Boar Sword (Season 6, Episode 24). He has been studying under ABS Master Smith Jim Crowell since 2016.
Though his creations are things of beauty, Caruso hopes they get used and don't become "safe queens." He noted, "My goal is to create attractive, reliable, and functional knives that people enjoy using,"
