This Winkler Survival Striker is a loaner from Mista Filedo (IG), a viewer, patron and all around great guy. He'd heard me talk about how much I want to check out a Winkler and obliged with, no doubt, one of the very coolest examples out there. This 80CRV2 blade is a razor sharp slab about 1/3 of an inch thick. In the voided portions of the tang (under the black canvas micarta scales) hide, flamable material with a ferro rod for starting a fire. The kydex sheath is luxurious, with a micara welt and soft inner lining. Also in the loaner box with this Survival Striker, a tactical pick and screwdriver. These are amazing tools and are made in North Carolina, USA.
