Dave Rydbom, custom knife maker, of Kingdom Armory joins Bob "The Knife Junkie" DeMarco on episode 298 of The Knife Junkie Podcast. Find show notes and links for this episode at https://theknifejunkie.com/298.
Rydbom has been knife making under the Kingdom label since 2008. He always intended to grind quietly under the radar, working with his hands, supporting his family, making knives in titanium, bronze and steel.
Dave lives by the words of 1 Thessalonians 4:11... "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands." He doesn't use fixtures when working, all grinding is done completely free hand.
It took 12 years soup-to-nuts, but the Kingdom Armory cleaverish folder called "Bill the Butcher" has been made into the production Spyderco Stovepipe.

He also worked on the Unagi folder with Chad Nichols and Les George.
