I wish this beautiful creation was mine, but alas, this Fox Bastinelli Geco belongs to my good buddy Dave, more about him in a second. The Geco features a gorgeous elongated and exaggerated tanto-style blade of N690Co with a detent optimized for waving out of the pocket using the curved surface on the front of the (beautifully jimped) thumb ramp. The bearings flipper works well when deliberately engaged but due to the pocket-deployment need might feel a bit soft. The handle has a very simple and ergonomic profile with canvas micarta on the show side and titanium on the frame lock side. Though this is definitely intended as a self-defense/fighting knife it would also make an outstanding utility folder.

Dave has an incredible collection and a generous soul. You know him as ThisOldSword Blade Reviews, so be sure to check out his awesome channel here: https://www.youtube.com/c/ThisOldSwordBladeReviews
