Cold Steel founder and former President Lynn Thompson joins Bob "The Knife Junkie" DeMarco on Episode 671 of The Knife Junkie Podcast (https://theknifejunkie.com/671).
In 1980, Lynn founded Cold Steel with the mission to bring the “world’s strongest, sharpest knives” to market. Over the next 40 glorious years of production, Cold Steel expanded into an edged-weapon giant, adding many tactical and survival knives to the lineup, as well as historical weapons like swords and battle axes.
After 40+ years of innovating in the edge weapons field, Lynn embarked on a new chapter, selling the company to GSM and ensuring it was in good hands with Keith Beam.
Now that Lynn's non-compete with GSM has expired, he is embarking on a new endeavor to bring his amazing vision for fighting and tactical knives back to the market with Lynn Thompson Tactical Knives.
