Benchmade 470 Emissary Review: Fast & Deadly Gentleman's EDC

Here's my initial review of the very cool Benchmade 470 Emissary, an "Axis Assist" high-end carry blade from our friends in Oregon City. The 470 sports a 3" blade in Crucible CPM S30V steel, a 6061 aluminum handle, hard annodized, Benchmade's legendary Axis Lock mechanism, with a very strong spring assist. This knife is better compared to automatic knives than manual folders or even other assisted openers. It's combination of proven materials and mechanics, along with seductive styling and top-notch construction make it a very attractive blade. However, its price tag might make some question its value. Given that quandary, a common one in the knife world, you'll just have to see for yourself if this one is for you :)
