Dendra Typhoon Overview: Almost Original... Almost Excellent
Published: 10 years ago
Here's my overview of the Dendra Typhoon, designed by T. Antonevich and manufactured by Lionsteel of Italy. While not the most original design, and not perfect in function, it's a pretty credible offering. The cons: overly heavy for application, not the best flipper, less than perfect traction plan. The pros: great blade steel, well-executed grind, good ergos, superb fit and finish.
While a little too heavy for my carry system and taste, and a with flipper feature that just shouldn't be there, the Dendra Typhoon will appeal to knife knuts, and I totally get that. It's well made, with great blade steel (D2), and to most guys, it just looks cool! Enjoy, gang :)
