From the Sharpening Bench: Chris Reeve Nyala... Fixed Blade Sebenza?

Here's a look at the Chris Reeve Nyala, a small but sturdy fixed blade offering which in many ways resembles a fixed blade Sebenza. Although the blade stock is certainly more robust and the blade itself is significantly broader, the family resemblance is unmistakable. This particular offering is in for sharpening from my buddy Toadstkr. While it's here, I thought we'd analyze it a bit. Here are the specs from Chris Reeve Knives:
