Here's some discussion of my take on the comparative strengths and weaknesses of two of the most prolific purveyors of traditional folding knives, W.R. Case & Sons and Great Eastern Cutlery. Case, of course, has been in this game a very long time, and despite its ups and downs over the decades, continues to churn out the classics over a wide range of price points. GEC, on the other hand, is a new company comprised of old talent and skill. It has chosen a bit pricier niche in the the traditional knife market.
