From the Sharpening Bench: Benchmade 810 Contego -- Great Blade, Flawed Handle
Published: 10 years ago
Here's a fairly in-depth look at one of the newest tactical folders from Benchmade, the 810 Contego. With a wicked and useful blade shape, robust and nearly bullet-proof CPN M4 steel, and 4 inched of reach, the Contego is the heir apparent to the legendary Benchmade 710. But its flashy, albeit uncomfortable handle might hold this model back a bit. However, with some pretty easy and quick modifications, the Contego's handle can be made to make friends with the hand. All in all, the 810 is a capable companion in a tactical situation. Enjoy!
