Campfiretalk's Enzo Trapper Build 4.0: Shaping & Sanding the Handle
Published: 10 years ago
Here's the fourth video of a series in which I'll chronicle my build of an Enzo Trapper kit. This particular kit is property of legendary YouTuber, Campfiretalk. It's been languishing in his pile of stuff to do for a couple of years, and since he knows I aspire to become a knife maker when I grow up, he thought he'd send it up to Indiana and let me take a crack at finishing it for him.
This particular kit is of the more raw variety, as Enzo Trappers go. The handles are not at all shaped in this kit. Some Enzos come with the handles roughed out to the final shape, and only require some fitment sanding and final finishing. The blade will also require some work on this one, as the scandi grind is not very symmetrical. So, before it goes home to Tennessee, I'll square that away and apply TheApostleP edge for my buddy.
In this video, I'll take you along as I shape and sand the handle of the knife.
