From the Sharpening Bench: Benchmade 710-1401 -- Old is New Again!

Published: 10 years ago

Here's a quick look at a superb update of a true classic from Benchmade. It's the Mchenry & Williams 710-1401, a modern interpretation of the knife that started it all, so to speak. This one wears new 3-D machined, layered blue and black G10 scales, which look great and improve ergonomics significantly. Other enhancements are a steel upgrade from D2 to M390, and a highly polished split arrow pocket clip instead of the black painted Emerson style clip of the past few years. If you're a Benchmade fan and a lover of the old 710, you'll really need to get one of these!
