Traditional Knives Anthology 12.0 -- Case / Bose Lockback Whittler: Magnificently Disappointing

Published: 9 years ago

In episode 12.0 of our Traditional Knives Anthlogy, we take a close and not so flattering look at the Case / Bose Lockback Whittler. This knife represents a high-end production version of a pattern Tony Bose has mastered in his custom offerings. In this form, produced by Case Knives, it's still a mechanical masterpiece, but with some rather serious fit and finish issues, which make the knife a bit hard to swallow for the $400-450 price tag. Still and all, it's worth a look, just from the standpoint of its engineering and mechanical excellence.

Thanks as always to our buddy Steve, without whose research and traditional knife inventory, this series would not be possible.
