GEC Barlow Spear Point Review: As Classic as a Babe Ruth Home Run

Here's my review of the third run of Great Eastern Cutlery Northfield Barlows, a Special Factory Order by Mike Latham of CollectorKnives.net. This run in fall, 2015 consists of two blade set options, a single spear point, and a spear point main with a pen blade secondary. We'll focus on the single spear.
The barlow pattern is a time-honored, classic and strong traditional pocket knife pattern, and has enjoyed great popularity in the early 21st century. The GEC , from the design eye of Mike Latham, with a heavy dose of Bill Howard's input, is in my mind, the quintessential modern interpretation of the barlow.
