If you are a knife lover and into the everyday carry community that you have most likely heard about the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. A true classic of knife design and arguably one of Spyderco’s best selling knives of all time; right up there with the Endura from the 1980’s.
Apart from the Great ergonomics and addicting fidget compression lock, the design of this knife is comfortable to use and finds it home in a variety different uses. Capable of anything from hiking, camping, overlanding, backpacking, Tactical, self-defense, and even in the office environment. There are also many aftermarket parts that you can literally customize to your imagination's extent.
In this video we are going to test out the new Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Tanto version that recently came out. I am using a Blade HQ exclusive with M4 blade steel and natural Jade G10 handle scales. However, this review will apply to all iterations of the Tanto version. The base model consists of black scales and CPM S30v steel. We will put this knife up against the Tactical Tavern test. Consisting of 25 possible points based on price, functionality/design, dependability, versatility, and carry ability.
