The Kit Carson M16 line from Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT) has to be one of the best selling knives of all time. A variation of this knife was my first real pocket knife I saved up for. I have fond memories finding excuses to use it on everyday carry cutting tasks to sharpen a pencil or cut fishing line. Now as I have grown in my edc knowledge and collection, this is still a solid knife to recommend for someone just starting out like we all have. Sure, the steel is not a super steel like “CPM S110V” however, those adventurous souls can try their hand at sharpening without worrying about messing up a $250 knife. I love how durable this pocket knife is. I have taken it to hell and back, yet it is always up for one more adventure with me. If you are just getting into your everyday carry journey I highly recommend checking this knife out. Hopefully this review will help you decide if it deserves a spot in your edc gear rotation.
