SECRET SPY GEAR: Credit Card for Locks | EDC | Access Card Review | Inspired by @lockpickinglawyer
Published: 2 years ago
Welcome to theTactical Tavern! My name is Tomas Alas and in this video we are reviewing the Shomer-Tec Access Card: https://shomer-tec.com/products/access-card?_pos=1&_sid=2dd4c26f6&_ss=r
This card has a similar size to a normal credit card however, it is roughly half the thickness and comprised of coated stainless steel.
It features a feeler pick, ball pick, diamond pick, hybrid feeler/diamond pick, and a tension wrench which also doubles as a handcuff shim pick.
During testing I found the ball pick to also make an amazing shim and the feeler pick is slim enough to unlock double locked handcuff through the keyway. Just keep in mind these are very thin for concealment so go easy to not over bend the material.
I can see these being a great option if you are looking for a very concealable option for lock picks and want that option on you. Because you can use them to unlock handcuffs they increase in value for me. I can imagine tucking these behind a credit card in a wallet or behind my phone case. The possibilities are endless for this EDC gear. Certainly a useful accessory to have on you. After they have been used you an also put them on a keychain or sew them into clothes for addition concealment.
