Welcome everyone to the Tactical Tavern! I am your host Tomas Alas and in this video we are reviewing the Spyderco Atlantic Salt in H1 steel.

The Spyderco Atlantic Salt carries many attributes that make it a fine rescue knife. In short I feel your money could be better spent on a different rescue knife such as the Spyderco Rescue Assist. This Atlantic Salt features a blunt and rounded tip that allows the user to slide it under rope and clothing making it a great accessory for white water rafting or in a medic pack near the water. The H1 steel is scientifically designed to not rust. This ensures you won't have any problems with rusting or oxidation if left unkept. The handle is fiberglass epoxy resin that is ultra lightweight and features Spydercos classic bidirectional texture for enhanced traction.

Is this a great knife? Sure it's usable but if you are going to invest in a rescue tool, I want mine to be multi functional and that is why the Spyderco Rescue Assist is a much better investment
