Welcome Everyone to the Tactical Tavern! I am your host Tomas Alas and in this video we are reviewing the Skallywag Tactical D2 Dagger. A first for this channel, we will also be testing this out on a ballistic dummy!!! We also take a look at the aluminum dagger and provide a side by side comparison. Although the aluminum version resembles a similar profile it is a much softer and lighter steel best used as last ditch tool and for single use application as it is prone to bending. On the plus side from hearing real world accounts of this tool being used the softer steel can be advantageous by being lodged into an attacker. The D2 is sharp and both options come with an ambidextrous sheath making use and deploying the tool easy. It also has an inline cloth grabbing clip meaning you won’t have to wear a belt to carry these. I love the versatile options making it easier to carry everyday. The larger hole also provides easier access with gloves. There is an option I can see that can take this to the next level so make sure to watch all of the videos to find out. By the end of this review you will know if this is right for your everyday carry, next workout, outdoor adventure, or tactical mission.
Thank you to Tom, Elaine, and Captain Burhart for sending us back home with some review samples! Also thank you to @ballisticdummylab for the beautiful dummy at the @weknives Booth at Blade Show!
