"You WON'T Believe What EDC Gear Surprised Me Most!" . I keep the obvious edc gear items in my edc bag and pouches. These items are things I thought I would try out for a little while and then be done with them however I used them so much that they became permanent in my edc. Most of these stay in my truck unless I am doing something that I think I may need them. I don't like to over pack but I do like to be prepared for most things so I try to keep things that I use and that are pretty handy.
