I Bought a Second Civivi Ryson-E Before Finishing the First Test!
Published: 2 days ago
Today we're taking a close look at the CIVIVI
Ryson-E, a Sam Tran designed tolding knife that impressed me so much I immediately bought a second one. This might be my favorite CIVIVI release of the year, and after carrying and testing it, it's easy to see why.
The Ryson-E brings together a 3.32-inch
14C28N or Damascus harpoon blade, a thin hollow grind, smooth ceramic ball bearing action, comfortable G10 or Micarta handle scales, and a lightweight deep-carry design that makes it an excellent everyday carry knife. It's slim, discreet, comfortable in hand, and built with the kind of attention to detail that makes it feel like it should cost more than it does.
In this review, we put the CIVIVI Ryson-E through our usual cutting tests, check the ergonomics, action, carry profile, build quality, and overall value to see if it really deserves a spot in your EDC rotation.
If you're looking for a lightweight budget EDC folding knife with great slicing performance, smooth deployment, and a premium feel, the CIVIVI Ryson-E is definitely one to watch. Let me know in the comments what you think of the CIVIVI Ryson-E. Is this one of CIVIVI's best new EDC knives, or is there another model you'd choose instead?
