Don't Buy a Budget Knife Before Watching This!
Published: 3 days ago
The TacKnives Sunspear might be one of the best budget EDC knife of 2026. TacKnives has been on fire lately, I’ve loved every knife they’ve released this year. After spending time with it, I liked it so much that I immediately bought a second one.
In this TacKnives Sunspear pocket knife review, I take a close look at the 3.43" 14C28N stainless steel drop point blade, the slicey thin blade geometry, the Micarta handles, the smooth action, and the unique button-actuated liner lock system. This knife has good ergonomics, excellent grip, fast thumb hole and front flipper deployment, and real EDC performance at a budget-friendly price.
I also put the TacKnives Sunspear through my usual cutting tests, and it handled everything with no issues. The 14C28N blade steel offers a great balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, toughness, and easy maintenance, making it a strong choice for everyday carry. Is the TacKnives Sunspear the best budget knife of 2026? It may be too early to say for sure, but this one is absolutely in the conversation and could easily end up in my top 3 budget knives of the year.
If you're into budget EDC knives, 14C28N pocket knives, Micarta handle knives, button liner locks, or just want a great everyday carry blade that feels way better than its price, the TacKnives Sunspear is definitely worth checking out.
