Another EDC Knife That Checks All The Boxes | Bestech Dactyl Review!
Published: 1 day ago
In this video, I take a close look at the Bestech Dactyl, a Jesse Pauley of Cavemen EDC design that brings together a compact carry profile, premium materials, and a very capable blade shape. The Dactyl is a beefy-looking but surprisingly nimble EDC folder featuring MagnaCut steel, a compound-ground Japanese-style tanto blade, grippy Micarta scales, titanium hardware, and a partially concealed titanium bolster lock.
During testing, the Dactyl impressed me with how well it balances toughness and slicing performance. The hollow-ground straight edge is thin behind the edge and slices extremely well, while the flat-ground tanto tip has a little more thickness for harder-use cuts. Add in multiple deployment options, smooth snappy action, comtortable ergonomics, and a lightweight 3.8 oz build, and this knife has been getting a lot of pocket time.
If you're looking for a compact premium EDC knife with great steel, strong materials, and a blade shape that is more versatile than it first appears, the Bestech Dactyl might be one worth checking out. Let me know what you think of the Bestech Dactyl in the comments. Is this one that checks all the boxes for your EDC rotation?
